The exhibition featured an immersive installation and new paintings that bridge diverse modes of media, perception, and sensorial experience. Foregrounding the profound implications of digital representation in Night Flight and other works, Sze’s disorienting compositions combine painting with fragmentary collaged images, collapsing distinctions between representation and abstraction, the physical and the imagined.
