This poster featuring Robot and Bear (2024) was produced in 2024, in conjunction with the exhibition Jonas Wood at Gagosian, Grosvenor Hill, London. In his new paintings, Wood explores color, pattern, and space through the treatment of recurring subjects, including plants, family, and interiors. These works are characterized by the collision of contrasting graphic passages, and by sly shifts of scale and perspective. Robot and Bear features the artist’s dogs (past and present) transported into an apartment from the pages of an interior design magazine, looking out over Los Angeles.
