Jonas Wood: 24 Tennis Court Drawings
This book highlights a suite of twenty-four drawings by Jonas Wood depicting the color-saturated courts of various tennis tournaments as viewed by the artist on television in his studio. Completed between 2016 and 2018, the works were first presented at Shane Campbell Gallery in Chicago and will be gifted to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2025.
The bilingual (English/Japanese) catalogue features a conversation with Wood that provides insight into the artist’s process, as well as photographs of works in progress at the studio in Los Angeles.
