For over twenty years Takashi Murakami has been transforming his iconic symbols and characters, which combine aspects of popular cartoons from Japan, Europe, and the United States, into plush creations. This playful double-sided pillow features the artist’s flower motif with alternating gold and silver petals. On one side the pillow shows an “awake” face adorned with a wide smile and open eyes, and on the reverse there is a “sleeping” face with peacefully closed eyes and mouth.
