Pablo Picasso: Fleurs et mains Pillowcase
This jacquard-weave pillowcase features Pablo Picasso’s drawing Fleurs et mains (1958), which was originally created for a peace demonstration that took place in Stockholm in 1958. Invoking flowers as a symbol of peace, the drawing depicts two hands holding a vibrant bouquet that forms a bond between two individuals, conveying a sense of fellowship. Created in collaboration with the Picasso Administration, the fabric was woven on jacquard looms by a team of skilled textile artisans at Jules Pansu’s historic workshop Les Tissages de la Lys in Flanders, France.
