A collaboration between Toiletpaper Home and the Italian design brand Seletti, this collection of enamel mugs features darkly humorous images by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari—the creative duo behind the picture-based magazine Toiletpaper, which they cocreated in 2010. Cattelan and Ferrari fuse the vernacular of commercial image-making with Surrealist wit. The mugs depict a disembodied eye framed by an eyelash curler, manicured fingers emerging from a white ground, a pictogram for “I love you,” a toilet plunger, and a bird whose feathers are being snipped.
