Gerhard Richter
Featuring an image of the artist’s studio, this vintage poster promotes Gerhard Richter’s first European mid-career retrospective. The exhibition, which gathered paintings from 1962 to 1985, opened in January 1986 at Städtische Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany, before travelling to Nationalgalerie, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin; Kunsthalle Bern; and Museum moderner Kunst/Museum des 20. Jahrhunderts in Vienna. This poster is from the Kunsthalle Bern exhibition and is in excellent condition.
