This vintage poster was produced in 1976, in conjunction with the exhibition Cy Twombly at the Kestner Gesellschaft in Hannover, Germany. It reproduces a characteristically loose and expressive scripted drawing by Twombly in dark green oil pastel on a cream ground that provides the title, venue, and dates of the presentation, which was a comprehensive overview of Twombly’s drawings from the early 1950s through the early 1970s.
