Cy Twombly: Souvenir of D’Arros and Gaeta
This signed and numbered copy of Cy Twombly’s limited-edition 1992 hardcover book Souvenir of D’Arros and Gaeta reproduces a series of untitled acrylic, crayon, and pencil drawings that the artist made on the island of D’Arros in the Seychelles, and in Gaeta, Italy, in 1990. The photographs were taken by Tatia Franchetti Twombly on the island of Praslin in the Seychelles that same year. The book was published in an edition of 1,000, with the first 100 copies signed and numbered by the artist.
