A collaboration between Toiletpaper Home and the Italian design brand Seletti, this woven rug features a darkly humorous image by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari—the creative duo behind the picture-based magazine Toiletpaper, which they cocreated in 2010. Cattelan and Ferrari fuse the vernacular of commercial image-making with Surrealist wit. Here, the face and limbs of a woman emerge from the dense pattern of a Persian rug, her beaming expression radiating joy.
