Ed Ruscha: Oklahoma-E T-shirt
This limited-run T-shirt features Ed Ruscha’s Oklahoma-E (1962), a drawing influenced by the artist’s time spent as a paperboy for the Oklahoman. The T-shirt was created by Entireworld and Oklahoma Contemporary in conjunction with Ed Ruscha: OKLA, the artist’s first solo exhibition in his home state.
OKLA focused on the artist’s Oklahoma roots—his family, his upbringing, and his discovery of his calling as an artist. Ruscha lived in Oklahoma City from the ages of five to eighteen—a formative period in both his life and his artistic sensibility.
