Donald Judd: Skulpturen
This catalogue was produced in conjunction with Donald Judd: Skulpturen, an exhibition presented at Kunsthalle Bern, Switzerland, in 1976. Black-and-white photographs document the five plywood site-related works made to fit the dimensions of five rooms in the museum. (The works may be rebuilt in different dimensions.) The bilingual volume (English/German) also includes an introductory text by Kunsthalle director Johannes Gachnang and three essays by Judd on the artists Barnett Newman (1964; published here for the first time), Jackson Pollock (1967), and Kazimir Malevich (1975).
