Darren Romanelli for Katz + Dogg Color Belt Ottoman
Richard Prince and Los Angeles–based designer Darren Romanelli collaborated on a special line of furniture and clothing for Prince’s Katz + Dogg brand. Using his collection of vintage denim, textiles, and sportswear sourced from local flea markets and thrift stores, Romanelli created one-of-a-kind pieces intended to have a “hippie/stoner-inspired aesthetic” that resonates with Katz + Dogg’s line of smoking products.
Made with vintage Carhartt and Levi’s clothing, chino, and other found fabrics, the “Color Belt” ottoman is wrapped with two belts and features screenprinted motifs from Prince’s iconic Hippie Drawings.
