Venyx × Man Ray: Observatory Time Brooch
Designed by Eugenie Niarchos for Venyx World, this 18-karat gold and enamel brooch is inspired by Man Ray’s iconic painting A l’heure de l’observatoire, les Amoureux (Observatory Time, The Lovers, 1932–34). Reproducing the painting in gold and enamel, striking flame-red lips—based on those of Lee Miller—dominate a landscape at twilight. Tag pendants have become Venyx’s most celebrated pieces, and this wearable interpretation of a Surrealist masterpiece commemorates the romance between Miller and Man Ray.
