This taupe-colored cotton twill hat was produced on the occasion of the exhibition Brice Marden: I Am Plane Image at Gagosian, West 21st Street, New York. Embroidered in a blue-gray thread with the artist’s signature on the front and the gallery logo in the back, it features an adjustable snapback closure in muted green. The hat’s design was inspired by a favorite cap of Marden’s, which was produced for the 1996 Cezanne retrospective at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and was emblazoned with the artist’s signature.
Orders will be limited to two hats per customer.
