Darren Romanelli for Katz + Dogg Workwear Ottoman
Richard Prince and Los Angeles–based designer Darren Romanelli collaborated on a special line of furniture and clothing for Prince’s Katz + Dogg brand. Using his collection of vintage denim, textiles, and sportswear sourced from local flea markets and thrift stores, Romanelli created one-of-a-kind pieces intended to have a “hippie/stoner-inspired aesthetic” that resonates with Katz + Dogg’s line of smoking products.
Repurposing found fabrics in a patchwork pattern, the “Workwear” ottoman is made with vintage uniforms and military fatigues on which motifs from Prince’s iconic Hippie Drawings have been screenprinted.
