Damien Hirst Deck Chair (Green)
This folding deck chair features one of Damien Hirst’s most enduring motifs—the butterfly—screenprinted in varying colors and sizes on woven lime-green canvas. First incorporated into his work in 1989, butterflies have been described by the artist as a “universal trigger” that everyone loves, symbolizing natural beauty, the soul, and the fragility of life. The adjustable wood frame offers three seating positions and includes an etched metal plaque with the artist’s signature and other symbols. The chair was produced by London-based publisher Other Criteria, which was launched by Hirst in 2005.
