Featuring a cache of paintings, drawings, photographs, and archival material from the period during which Jean-Michel Basquiat shared an apartment in New York’s East Village with his friend Alexis Adler, the exhibition provided rare insight into the Basquiat’s creative life at a time that shaped his artistic practice.
