For over twenty years Takashi Murakami has been transforming his iconic symbols and characters, which combine aspects of popular culture and cartoons, into plush creations. This playful double-sided pillow features the artist’s flower motif with alternating pastel pink and yellow petals. On one side the pillow shows an “awake” face adorned with a wide smile and open eyes, and on the reverse there is a “sleeping” face with peacefully closed eyes and mouth.
