Avedon: Photographs 1947–1977
Signed by the artist, this catalogue documents Richard Avedon’s 1978 retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. It presents over 160 photographs with a concordance at the book’s end identifying their subjects—luminary figures in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and the arts, ranging from Brigitte Bardot and Tina Turner to Yves Saint Laurent and John Huston.
