This limited-edition exhibition catalogue is one of five hundred deluxe copies published on the occasion of Richard Artschwager: The Hydraulic Door Check, a retrospective of the artist’s work at Museum für angewandte Kunst (MAK), Vienna, in 2002. Signed by the artist and numbered, the book has a binding of rubberized horsehair fibers—one of Artschwager’s favored mediums—and is housed in the publisher’s original paperboard box.
