Peter Doig—Maison La Roche

This forthcoming book documents an exhibition of work by Peter Doig at Maison La Roche, Paris, on view from April 10 to May 30, 2026. Curated by Parinaz Mogadassi, the show includes fourteen recent and previously unseen paintings, including two monumental works created specially for the presentation, installed throughout the modernist house, which was designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret between 1923 and 1925.

In the 1990s, Peter Doig stayed at Le Corbusier’s iconic Unité d’Habitation in Briey, France—an experience that marked one of the painter’s most defining encounters with modernist architecture and with the notion of a landscape defined by built forms. Though this exhibition is not a direct reinterpretation of that moment, it nevertheless reflects a similar sensibility: that of an artist attentive to places, architecture, and the ways in which they sustain the imagination.

Published by Gagosian and TRAMPS, the catalogue, designed by Faye and Gina, will feature an essay by British curator and writer Jasper Sharp and installation photography by celebrated French photographer Francois Halard.

This book is estimated to be published in fall 2026. Please contact us to buy the publication and you will be notified once available.
