Frank Gehry: Catalogue Raisonné of the Drawings, Volume One, 1954–1978
This catalogue is the first of eight planned volumes that will present the complete collection of Frank Gehry’s drawings, documenting the artist’s sketches and studies alongside photographs of completed maquettes and realized structures. Much of Gehry’s genius can be found in his drawings, whose progressions from paper models to built poststructuralist reality have changed the visual landscape of architecture. Published by Cahiers d’Art, and edited by architectural historian Jean-Louis Cohen, the catalogue raisonné offers a comprehensive view of the work that defines one of the most expressive architects of our time. The book is available signed and unsigned.
