Judy Geib
Judy Geib is a self-taught, New York–based designer who spent twenty years painting, drawing, and making objects before deciding to pursue jewelry. She creates her pieces by hand using natural, untreated gemstones. “Hand making is especially important to me,” she states, “because it is a slow process that lets ideas gradually, haltingly, come into focus and be tumbled around and played with and splintered off and pursued indefinitely in unforeseen directions.”
