This poster was produced in 2010 in conjunction with Ed Ruscha: On the Road: An Artist Book of the Classic Novel by Jack Kerouac at Gagosian, Davies Street, London, and Gagosian, 980 Madison Avenue, New York. Featuring a 1949 Hudson Commodore, famously driven by the book’s character based on Neal Cassady, this is one of three versions, each with a different quotation by Kerouac and photograph by Ruscha.
